The Club welcomes new and experienced bowlers from 8 years of age. We also have social members who enjoy the facilities of the Club but do not play bowls on a regular basis.
Membership fees for 2026 are:
Full adult playing members – £110
New novice adult members – £75 for the full season (reduced pro rata according to the number of months remaining in the season)
Junior playing members from twelve to eighteen years of age – £18
Junior playing members from eight to eleven years of age – £14
Social membership – £10
A minimum of equipment is needed to begin playing bowls at Westbourne. A pair of shoes without heels and with minimum tread is necessary and, once an acceptable playing standard has been achieved, grey trousers or shorts, or skirt and a Club Shirt are needed. In the short term bowls are available for loan, and there is often used equipment available to purchase at low price.
